CELEBRATING 16 YEARS! Welcome to the Missouri State Capital Chapter Website! SGMP is the only organization that is solely based on the needs of the government meeting planning industry. We are the third largest chapter in the nation and our members are from all across the great State of Missouri. Majority of our planners are employed by state government agencies. Our supplier members represent the hotel industry, convention and visitor bureaus, and other meeting–related companies who are dedicated to providing the required resources that the meeting planner needs to complete their job. SGMP is a non-profit national organization dedicated to improving the knowledge and expertise of those who plan and execute federal, state or local meetings, through the provision of educational and networking opportunities; thereby, also improving the quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness of government meetings.
The Missouri State Capital Chapter offers a wide variety of educational training opportunities through monthly programs at the local Chapter level, our Annual Joint Meeting Planners Tradeshow and at the Annual National Education Conference; next year in Kansas City, MO, May 19-22, 2010.
