Welcome to the website of the Missouri State Capital Chapter (MOCAP) of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP)! SGMP is a non-profit national organization dedicated to improving the knowledge and expertise of those who plan and execute federal, state or local meetings, through the provision of educational and networking opportunities; thereby, also improving the quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness of government meetings. The organization is comprised of both meeting planners and those suppliers that provide services (such as representatives from hotels, convention and visitors bureaus, speakers, audio-visual, meeting and events publications, entertainment, etc.). The Missouri State Capital Chapter is one of 26 Chapters across the nation...three of which are located right here in Missouri .
